My love for sewing began at a young age, learning by my mother’s side. By public school, I was already making clothes for myself and friends. After graduating from the Retail Management program at St. Lawrence College and gaining experience in retail and finance, I turned what started as a part-time passion into a full-time career.

Founded in 1990, Creations By Tracy began in Brockville and has proudly been based in Kingston since 2016. Today, I specialize in custom hemming and alterations, with a focus on fit, quality, and old-school craftsmanship. In a world of fast fashion, many hems here are still finished the traditional way — by hand — with care and attention to detail you can see and feel.

Because I work by appointment only, each client gets a calm, unrushed experience and the time to talk through exactly how their garments should fit. I’m grateful for the opportunities entrepreneurship has brought, the Kingston community I now call home, and the chance to do what I love every day.
